Fraser River Trade Area Study and Greater Vancouver Gateway 2030

Jemma Scoble Consulting led Indigenous engagement activities for the Gateway Collaboration Forum’s Fraser River Trade Area (FRTA)  Study, and is currently leading engagement for the Gateway Transportation and Collaboration Forum and the Greater Vancouver Gateway 2030 program.

ROLE AND RESULTS:

  • Consulted with 14 Indigenous groups to inform the development and evaluation of projects
  • Identification of opportunities related to Indigenous participation, procurement, and cultural recognition
  • Provided Indigenous engagement-related content for inclusion in FRTA Study and GVG 2030 Expressions of Interest and Comprehensive Project Proposals for National Transportation Corridor Funding
  • Letter of support for FRTA Study and 2 letters and a video of support for GVG 2030 projects
  • Currently supporting consultation with Indigenous groups during the project definition phase of six GVG projects, led by the Port of Vancouver
